Overview

Dolphin and whale watching trips can be life-changing experiences. Keeping whales and dolphins in Aquariums for our entertainment is wrong which is why OceanSee positively encourages you to go and see these amazing creatures in the wild ocean where they belong.

If you like to have a relaxed tour and enjoy some sightseeing of the coast we invite you to take a 2h trip on our speed boat. During this trip we ride into the ocean to find some cetaceans and after you have the opportunity to enjoy views of the West coast of Funchal. You will be able to see Cabo Girão – The highest sea cliff in Europe. On our trips you can also have a swim with the dolphins and it’s totally free!

On all of our trips we have a professional biologist/guide, certified by the Institute of Forests and Nature Conservation for the Observation of Cetaceans.

Also, our company provides a photo report of your trip and a bottled water.

What To Expect

Oceansee

On the 2h trip During the first hour we ride into the ocean to find some dolphins and whales. In our program, there are many chances to experience the encounters with several species during the same trip, as we have a lookout on the land that tell us where the animals are and guide us to them. After you have the opportunity to enjoy views of the West coast of Funchal. You will be able to see Cabo Girão(582m) – The second highest sea cliff in the world and is the highest in Europe. During the summer we take a 20 min stop for a swim next to Fajãs do Cabo Girão. On the way back we will sail closer to land in order to enjoy the view while soaking in interesting information from our biologist.
