I had booked the south, east and west tours as well as a hike at Ponta de São Lourenço. During the trip there was a lot of information about the respective place or the island.
Meals were not included in the tours, but I thought that was a good thing, since you could decide for yourself whether to go to the restaurant, bring something with you, or spend lunch in the area.
All guides and employees were super friendly and a special compliment goes to Marco, who gave us an unforgettable day on the beautiful east tour with his warm manner and certainly made one or the other want to go to Madeira for Christmas. Thank you for four unforgettable days.
A well worth visit to the kiosk to choose your perfect day out

Probably one of the best TUI excursions we have been on. Each stop was amazing. Firstly high above the clouds at the third highest point of the island which was magical. Then onto Santana to see the traditional triangular houses and then the most amazing lunch at a hotel with spectacular views over the sea. Finally a stop at the tip of the island looking back to Funchal and the runway on stilts. If you only do one excursion on your visit this is strongly recommended.
A bit boring in parts but only due to the weather

We booked this trip as we had been on a trip to the other side, so we thought it would be nice to see this side as well.
Our driver Fernando was brilliant and it him that made the tour. Very informative and made the trip interesting.
We couldn’t see the views because of the cloud and rain and I am sure if the weather had been better then I would have given the tour another star. No one’s fault though but it did make the trip a bit boring.
It was nice to see the different terrains and fauna.
We didn’t go for the lunch they were offering simply because we had booked a meal in the evening at our hotel but I am sure it would have been good value as the lunch we had when we did the other trip was very good.
