Built in 1950, the Miradouro do Pico dos Barcelos is located in the parish of Santo António at an altitude of about 355 meters. From this viewpoint it is possible to contemplate a breathtaking panoramic view over the bay and the city of Funchal, with the Desertas Islands in the background.

What an amazing trip! Nuno - such an attentive guide with so much knowledge to offer.
A fantastic day with such insight to the history of the island.
So much more personal than a group tour (only the 4 of us). Would highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this tour! Nuno was a wonderful guide who took us around the island to parts we wouldn’t have otherwise seen. Our tasting at Quinta do Barbusano was outstanding. I cannot recommend this private tour highly enough to see some beautiful locations in Madeira.

The whole trip was amazing the tour guide Nuno really knows the whole island he takes you to spots with unbelievable views and was a huge help! I think this is the best way to see the island was an amazing tour and words can’t describe it.
