Great experience on top of Madeira

Our driver Filipe was very knowledgeable about Funchal, Madeira and of course the hiking part. lots of information on our trip to the starting point. And lots of useful information from their office, where Logan was providing detailed information about the departure and - during the hike - was available in case anything happens.
The transfer was on time, the bus was nice and clean, the driving was very thoughtful; one word: perfect!
Thanks a lot, all of you guys!
Hike to the Highest Peak in Madeira? Do it Madeira
This is a fabulous hike and one I would highly recommend (with Do it Madeira) - especially if you're lucky enough to get good weather, which we did:).
Filipe is a knowledgeable and energetic guide with a passion for Madeira - we came away with lots of info and some great tips for great places to eat and other trips.
The company, Do it Madeira really pull out all the stops to make this an enjoyable venture!
The path is safe and well-maintained and despite my vertigo, I was able to handle the spectacular scenery and shear, vertical drops (safely within the guide ropes)!
The Sun Rise was unbelievably good - today it rose above the clouds and created a spectrum of colour. Out photos are fabulous!
The path is hard where the path rises to the top of Pico do Ruiva but there is a timely cafe stop here and another at the end of the walk - perfect for rehydrating and restoring energy.
This trip is a must-do for anyone who enjoys mountain scenery, and can handle a moderate amount of challenging hillwalking.
