Overview
The Host Filipe will pick you up in your accommodation (Câmara de Lobos, Funchal and Caniço) and will arrive to the starting point in time for the sunrise, which is located in the 2nd highest peak - Pico do Areeiro (1818 meters). After the sunrise, the hike takes place. The pick up is in Achadas do Teixeira. The duration of the hike is 4,5 hours (about 10 km).
