What To Expect

Ponta de Sao Lourenco
This trail is situated at the eastern end of the island, in Caniçal and it’s a part of the Natural Park of the island.

Along the walk you will see both north and south coasts of Madeira. Discover and enjoy the unique fauna and flora species or take a moment to see the curious rock formations, a result of the volcanic origin of the island.

The rocky and contrasting alternative to the evergreen levada paths. Views over the Desertas islands in the south and Porto Santo to the north are present all the way. 

At the end of the walk it's possible to go for a swim in the clear ocean which makes this walk special in every way.
